You Are

This was our Valentine's Day love poem and we had the choice to write a positive or negative poem. Due to the fact I had a boyfriend this most recent Valentine's Day, I was feeling the love. It also happened to be my favorite poem I wrote this year. Enjoy!

You Are

You are my favorite hello

And my hardest goodbye

You are my reason to smile

And my reason to cry

You are my darkest night

And my brightest light

You are my better side

And my big blue sky

You are my biggest judgment

And my best accident

You are my wicked schemes

And my partner in crime

You are the branches perfectly intertwined

And the peaceful unwind

You are the cool, gentle breeze

And the burgundy fall leaves

You are the places we’ve gone

And the ones we haven’t been to yet

You are the seed of forever,

Watered with your presence.
